Topics and Submission Guidelines

TOPICS OF INTEREST

We welcome submissions on applications  of speech and language technology in areas including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Education
  • Access to social services / participation in society
  • Less Resourced Languages
  • Health
  • Social/Public services
  • Culture
  • Mobility/Migration
  • Political Freedom
  • Agriculture
  • Sustainability

SUBMISSIONS

Dialog for Good welcomes long and short papers and demo descriptions. Long or short papers may be accepted  for oral or  poster presentation.

  • Long papers can be up to eight pages, including title, text, figures and tables. A further three pages are allowed for references.
  • Short papers can be up to four pages, including title, text, figures and tables. Two further pages are allowed for references.
  • Demo descriptions can be up to two pages including title, text, examples, figures, tables and references.

Submission Format

All long, short, and demonstration submissions must follow the two-column ACL 2018 format. Please use the ACL LaTeX style template or Microsoft Word style template . Submissions must be electronic, in PDF format.

Important dates

Deadline for submission of long, short, and demo papers: 5 July 2019

Notification of acceptance: 5 August 2019
